We have recently worked with a number of clients to resolve newsletter issues improving both delivery and open rates.

If your email 'from' address appears in this format:

  • FJB Digital <> on behalf of; FJB Digital <>

instead of:

  • FJB Digital <>

You need to verify your domain.

As a trusted sender/domain, emails will display images immediately and are less likely to be sent to junk/spam.


The are a couple of simple updates that you can carry out to do this:

  1. Make sure that you have a verified domain name with your newsletter provider - this will ensure that emails are sent from your domain and not 'on behalf of'.
  2. Make sure that you have a SPF and DKIM entry in your DNS records which includes your newsletter provider's domain. This informs third-party mail servers that your newsletters are coming from a valid source.
